On Monday May 24, SITAEL, the Italian largest privately-owned company in the aerospace sector designing and developing satellites, propulsion systems, scientific instrument for space missions, closed the transaction of acquiring SkyComm, strengthening its position as global leader in business-critical satellite communication network and digital enablement solutions.
The acquisition marks another milestone in the company’s M&A strategy. Within SITAEL, SkyComm will focus on LEO satellite in QV band for ultra-wide band satellite communications who need specific and complex skills as well as proven experience in avionics, land and sea mobile terminals. SkyComm is further extending the SITAEL ’s solution portfolio and customer base.
