Have A Nice Trip Rashid! — Compoxi

Last Sunday, Compoxi team held its breathe while witnessed the launching of Rashid, the moon rover of the UAE’s mission to the moon.

Compoxi is the proud manufacturer of the ultra-light and ultra-stiff complex CFRP body structure of Rashid, made for the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Center, in the framework of the first UAE’s lunar mission.

Rashid departed from SLC-40, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida on the 11th of December, inside Haruto-R mission 1 lander. It will not land immediately, as it will take around 3 month to reach the moon surface. Once there, the rover will be one full lunar day (14 earth days) exploring the surface.

Enjoy yourself with a timelapse of how Rashid is assembled in MBRSC facilities.
