French Ambassador Impressed by SkyLabs’s Innovative Approach

On Monday, April 24, 2023, the Ambassador of the Republic of France in Slovenia, HE Florence Lévy, honoured us with her visit.

Accompanied by the attaché for scientific and university cooperation, Marion Hamonou, she had a meeting with SkyLabs CEO, Tomaž Rotovnik, where they discussed the possibilities of cooperation of our company with France – French companies and institutions.

Mr. Rotovnik presented the company, our key competence fields and TRISAT and TRISAT-R missions.

In the light of recent events and activities, the participants also spoke about draft of Slovenian Space Strategy 2030, Slovenian and SkyLabs’s cooperation with ESA and about an expected outcome and impression of visiting the Space Symposium in Colorado Springs last week.

The ambassador highlighted her impression of the knowledge, innovation and expertise of our company and expressed that she sees some opportunities for possible cooperation with French companies.
