SAIC Secures $64 Million Contract to Create and Deploy Application System for SDA's PWSA Constellation - Via Satellite

The Space Development Agency (SDA) has announced the renaming of its low-earth orbit satellite constellation as the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA). The move comes as Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) won a $64m contract to develop, implement and maintain the Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3) Application Factory for the PWSA. The constellation is a key part of the US Department of Defense’s Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) strategy, offering data communications and decision-making capabilities. SAIC will integrate the BMC3’s command and control, software, cyber, cloud and engineering solutions to ensure that the PWSA can adapt to evolving threats and warfighter needs.
